Proactive way to continuously monitor infrastructure

The FIRM Surveillance module provides high level visibility and performance information about power and environmental infrastructures at Network Operating Centers (NOCs). This module uses programmable business rules derived from alarm management best practices to graphically manage network element alarms. Power plant equipment capacity and backup reserve data drawn from multiple sites additionally enable NOC users to determine the most efficient resource dispatch scenarios while optimizing alarm-handling capabilities. It can operate as a standalone solution or in harmony with other FIRM modules as part of a complete FIRM Suite^TM environment.

More specifically, FIRM Surveillance will enable you to:

• Detect power network-related faults and correct the situation faster, meaning that the network experiences less service downtime;
• Manage using real-time and customizable alarm matrix views;
• Access critical information related to equipment inventory, capacity, specifications and power distribution layout for EOP (Emergency Operation Procedures);
• Produce detailed reports;
• Diagnose power and environmental alarms quickly.
